FRONTEC'S AMTRIX SYSTEM WORLD'S FIRST TO BE CERTIFIED FOR SAP R/3 VERSION 4 Leading Application Integration Software Met Stringent New SAP Tests STAMFORD, CT, September 15, 1998-SAP has issued the world's first certification for ALE Integration with R/3 Version 4.0 to AMTrix 4.2, the latest version of this leading application integration software from Frontec AMT. AMTrix 4.2 has now met SAP's new, more demanding certification standards for message handling, data migration and ALE integration. Frontec previously received both EDI and ALE certification from SAP for the previous version of AMTrix. SAP revised its certification standards substantially concurrent with the release of R/3 Version 4.0, introducing new and more challenging criteria. The certification of Frontec AMT software was carried through with AMTrix 4.2 using an NT 4.0 system for an SAP R/3 version 4.0B system. The certification tests, performed at the company's laboratory in Walldorf, Germany, included such processes as IDoc Meta data generation; single and multiple IDocs in old and new formats; inbound processing; error messaging; and message loopback. AMTrix is installed in more than twice as many locations as any other application integration product, according to Frontec. It enables end-users and software providers to more quickly integrate ERP solutions, legacy systems, packaged applications and electronic commerce communities across the extended supply chain. "Today we proved to our customers that our technology and long experience in application integration delivers world class SAP integration capabilities," said Bengt Wallentin, CEO, Frontec Group. "The certification demonstrates Frontec's commitment to offering the SAP community top performance in integration software." "Customers can rely on Frontec to continue developing our SAP solutions to make integration as easy and straightforward as possible. Our close working relationship with SAP will ensure that our clients can benefit from superior integration capabilities in an ever changing business world," said Richard Pasqua, Vice President of Product Management, Frontec AMT ### Frontec is a $100 million provider of application integration products and services.
