Frontec's largest order so far for SAP R/3 implementation - Volvo Aero Volvo Aero has chosen Frontec as a partner for its SAP R/3 implementation. This is Frontec's largest individual order in this area so far and the project is planned to last three years. "For our part, it is important to combine the implementation of the SAP system with process development," says Dennis Samuelsson, project manager at Volvo Aero. "Since Frontec has experience of other similar projects and all the Frontec consultants have been certified by SAP, we consider that we can save a lot of time - an important factor in such an extensive project. In addition, we stipulated that the consultants should be based locally and be able to work in teams with our own people." "This project is very extensive, involving all modules of the R/3 system which need to be adapted to the business processes of the entire Aero group. It is one of the first projects in the Nordic countries to utilise SAP´s new strategy with specific R/3 systems for each type of industry, in this case the aerospace industry, as well as ASAP, the SAP method for fast and easy projectmanagement" says Michael Bergqvist, manager of the SAP R/3 consultants at Frontec. "When we started building up our skills centre in Gothenburg, I had no idea that in just two years we would have more than 50 R/3 consultants, all certified by SAP."
