Frontec signs framework agreement with Post Danmark Frontec has been selected as the primary supplier of e-commerce solutions for Post Danmark, the national postal service of Denmark. "Frontec has been supplying services to Post Danmark's Electronic Commerce Infrastructure for several years. Our eBusiness gateway is one of the country's more complex and is strategically important to our operations," says Preben Wermuth, who is responsible for Post Danmark's customer-related communication solutions. "We therefore place very high demands on competence and delivery capabilities, both of which Frontec has lived up to. And the fact that they are opening an office in Copenhagen gives us even more reason to build on our relationship." "The cooperation with Post Danmark has been very stimulating," says Bengt Killander, regional manager for Frontec Öresund responsible for Frontec's efforts in Denmark. "Not only have we faced high demands with regard to technical competence, but we have also had to thoroughly understand the business processes of Post Danmark's customers. The solutions we have built together to support the logistics of Danish companies are excellent examples of how successful eBusiness isn't about flashy web sites, but rather business-critical logistics solutions." Frontec has been working in the Danish market since 1996 with customers such as Danisco, SAS and Post Danmark. "The opening of the Öresund Bridge linking Sweden and Denmark has brought about a noticeable difference in Danish customers' interest in Swedish suppliers, so it was only natural that we open an office in Copenhagen now that half the revenues of our Malmö office are from the Danish market," adds Bengt Killander. "The framework agreement with Post Danmark is further proof that our eBusiness solutions meet the quality requirements necessary for e-commerce to really work."
