Kongsberg Automotive chooses AMTrix for integration and EDI The car industry is making increasingly tight delivery demands on its subcontractors. Four hours from order to delivery is not unheard of. This in turn places great demands on the subcontractor's system in order to handle the process entirely electronically. Kongsberg, which works with very critically timed deliveries to most customers and suppliers within the automotive industry in the Nordic countries, Europe and the USA, has now chosen Frontec as a partner for the implementation of EDI and integration. "For our part, it was important to the implementation of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and integration with other applications, to use software that was tried, flexible and certified," says Patrick Smith, IT Manager at Kongsberg Automotive. "Since Frontec has the experience of other similar projects within that very area of the automotive industry , we are counting on being able to save time, an important component of such a comprehensive project. In addition, we always make it a requirement that consultants are found locally."
