MoDo chooses AMTrix from Frontec for SAP R/3 integration Flexibility, easy maintenance and expandability proved to be the deciding factors for MoDo Paper AB and MoDo Data when they chose Frontec's solution for integrating SAP R/3 with other applications. MoDo, currently in the middle of implementing the SAP R/3 system, were looking for a tool that could, in a simple way, link R/3 with all the company's existing systems without affecting those that are functioning well. "Frontec's AMTrix more than satisfies our demands," says Rolf Edlund, Project Manager at MoDo. "The architecture of the product means that we have to make one connection per application only, the one with AMTrix. AMTrix then deals with the translation of data between various formats, the exchange of communication protocols as well as the rules governing when and where a batch of information is to be sent.
