Cell Network delivers invoicing system to Svensk Äldreomsorg AB

Svensk Äldreomsorg, a company providing care for the elderly, can now streamline most of its management of paper invoices from suppliers with the help of a new invoicing system from Cell Network and Posten's scanning service.

"We handle a total of around 35,000 suppliers' invoices annually," says Katarina Sjögren, administration manager at Svensk Äldreomsorg. "This of course means a lot of administration, particularly since our operations are spread around the country. This new solution means that we minimise our paper flows and also enjoy more secure management with better control and follow-up possibilities."

"The agreement we have signed with Svensk Äldreomsorg means a total commitment for two years of IT support," says Lars Granath, account manager at Cell Network. "We will be installing our own concept for electronic invoice management, Faktum, and adapting and developing it according to the needs of the customer. An important step in the development of this service is that we will also be managing the system for Svensk Äldreomsorg via our hosting centre in Gothenburg."
Cell Network's partner, Posten, will provide scanning and conversion of incoming paper invoices. The solution entails Posten receiving, scanning and interpreting all suppliers' invoices. The data will be delivered digitally to the invoicing system.

"Posten views it as a natural evolution of its services to convert paper invoices into a digital format," says Jonas Norberg, who is responsible for Posten partners who are system integrators. "Posten is more than willing to collaborate with system integrators involving several of our electronic services. Our collaboration with Cell Network is a good example of this kind of co-operation. Together, we can design a very useful and total solution for customers. This solution was achieved by designing a service with the best components from both partners."
Posten has previous experience from the development of similar customer solutions together with Cell Network. The parties look forward to further collaboration in the future.
