Cell Network's own concept for telephony support systems is now to be installed at Vattenfall's two utilities in Stockholm and Trollhättan. The concept provides Vattenfall with a cutting-edge tool for telephony management. This is the fourth telephony support system deal for which Cell Network has delivered within the energy industry.

The solution is a general tool for the management of large numbers of telephone calls and contact channels. By combining different modes of communication such as telephony and SMS, calls can be handled uniformly and efficiently. Other features such as a phone book and contact history make communication with service staff quick and efficient.

"We have not worked with Cell Network before, but the solution that they presented to us had the best technical solution and the best user interface, which were important parameters for us," says Dag Relfsson, production engineer at Vattenfall in Trollhättan.

Telephony comprises one of the most important tools for efficient work at a utility, which is why Vattenfall has decided to supplement the ordinary telephone exchanges with support systems for queue management, call prioritisation, SMS, etc.

"Today, we are seeing strong demand for advanced telephony support systems that are easy to install and adapt to the specific requirements of the client," says Kenneth Anderson, sales manager at Cell Network. "Cell Network is now well positioned within this field as a result of our successes with this concept, which we have designed ourselves."
