Gunnebo Selects Mandator for Web Environment O&M
Mandator has been selected by the Swedish Gunnebo Group to operate and maintain the Group's web system. The system is based on Microsoft CMS and encompasses an increasingly large part of the Gunnebo Group's external web presence.
"Mandator has previously completed successful assignments, primarily within the field of security, for Gunnebo Physical Security, the largest division within the Gunnebo Group. We offer a powerful monitoring system and a high service level, which contributed to our winning the contract to operate and maintain the Gunnebo Group's external web environment," says Jan Stenhoff, head of the Mandator Infrastructure Unit in Gothenburg. "That our services comply with the ITIL best practice standard was another strength."
ITIL stands for IT Infrastructure Library and is an international best practice standard for cost-effective and qualitative corporate IT use.
"Gunnebo chose Mandator as an O&M partner because they offer high levels of security and service for reasonable costs," says Karin Martinsson, Project Coordinator at Gunnebo's Information Department. "Mandator also provided extensive support in transferring the websites between the old and new hosting solutions."
The agreement runs for 24 months, effective 1 September 2005.
Gunnebo is an internationally active security group with annual sales of SEK 6,700 million. The Group has 6,900 employees in 90 companies in 30 different countries. Gunnebo's security operations mainly concern fire and burglary-resistant safes, security products for banks and cash management, electronic security systems, fire protection, entrance control and access control, alarm centres, and indoor and outdoor perimeter protection.
