Mandator is to arrange a seminar on usability together with Patrick W Jordan, an internationally-renowned strategist in the field.

Successful IT solution development must be based on user needs and desires. To help spread knowledge about the advantages of usability, Mandator is organising a seminar on World Usability Day, 8 November.

This is the third consecutive year World Usability Day will be celebrated throughout the world. In 2006, 135 events were organised, and Mandator’s seminar was one of them.

“Our event last year was greatly appreciated by our customers. As we consider usability a natural part of the development of successful IT solutions, we will continue to spread knowledge about this field,” says Helen Fredin, Head of Mandator West.

This year’s seminar will be held in cooperation with Patrick W. Jordan, who is also one of the speakers. Patrick is an internationally-renowned strategist in the fields of design, marketing and brand creation.

Other speakers:
- Magnus Burell from Verva
- Wolmet Barendregt from IT University
- Sara Eggert from Ascom
- Karin Eklund from Mandator

“The seminar was quickly fully booked. It’s really great that so many people want to know how they can work with usability to improve the quality of their products,” says Karin Eklund, Head of Usability Competence at Mandator.
