Mandator's Estonian subsidiary is developing an integrated administration and control system intended to optimise Estonian agriculture. The assignment is valued at about SEK 19 million.
The client that ordered the system is Agricultural Registers and Information Board (ARIB), Estonia's financing agency for EU and national Estonian grant funds for farmers. They also handle import and export grants for agricultural products.

"This software development project will be one of the largest in Estonian IT history and an exciting challenge for Mandator", says Andres Järviste, Project Manager and head of Mandator's Tartu office.

With the new system, ARIB will be able to optimise its handling of grant applications submitted by farmers. Moreover, they will be able to calculate grant payments and will obtain a support tool for random checks on livestock. The project also includes the development of new software for Estonia's livestock register.

Mandator's Estonian subsidiary is one of the most successful IT companies in Estonia and has for several consecutive years been ranked top five by the business daily Äripäev.
The assignment is being conducted together with the Estonian company Aprote and the French company SCOT. Mandator is responsible for project management, systems development, testing and validation.
