IT consultant Mandator signs partnership agreement with Volvo Cars. The collaboration sees Mandator become one of Volvo Cars' key suppliers of IT resources.

Mandator is one of two suppliers chosen to sign agreements with Volvo Cars on expert IT services. Mandator will share responsibility with Volvo Cars for planning and staffing IT projects, optimising Volvo Cars' consulting services procurement process. Lead times will be shortened and expert support services optimised and quality-assured.

"The IT industry is undergoing an industrialisation process and this is an excellent example of collaboration that helps the client increase efficiency and reduce costs," says Anders Velander, Acting CEO at Mandator. "We work closely with our clients, offer great flexibility and, with good forward planning, strategically broaden and rejuvenate staff composition in order to better meet market demand."

"Volvo Cars is one of our prioritised clients within the industrial sector," says Helen Fredin, manager of Mandator in Gothenburg. "We have a long-standing relationship with Volvo Cars and this new agreement provides a platform to broaden and extend our collaboration."

Parallel to this agreement, Mandator will continue to supply Volvo Cars with specialised IT services such as e-learning and configuration solutions.

"The market for optimisation services is here to stay," continues Anders Velander, "and Mandator is well equipped to meet this demand. Moreover, when cost considerations so demand, we can even offer advanced IT expertise via our Estonian subsidiary, providing clients with additional savings."

Mandator's other industrial clients include Sandvik and Ericsson.
