IT consultancy Mandator's Estonian operation is in an expansive phase. The company was recently certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 and with 20 new recruitments so far this year, employee numbers have reached 100.
"Our nearshore offering is a great success and there's much demand," says Per Häggdahl, Director Nearshore at Mandator. "This year alone we've recruited 20 new consultants and with current growth our operation will continue to expand throughout the year."

Mandator acquired its Estonian operation in 1999 and today the company is Mandator's largest overseas operation with offices in Tallinn and Tartu. The company has previously been voted one of Estonia's foremost IT companies by Äripäev, the Swedish financial newspaper Dagens Industri's Estonian equivalent. The Estonian company was recently certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000.

Mandator's integrated nearshore offering means customers can work with their existing, local contact despite some of the work, such as development and testing, being conducted by Estonian experts. This ensures high-quality and cost-efficient projects.

According to the International Monetary Fund, the IMF, Estonia's economic growth is expected to reach 7.9 percent this year and 7.1 percent next year. This gives Estonia the highest predicted growth rate in Central and Eastern Europe for the next two years, as reported in the IMF's annual Word Economic Outlook.
