IT consultancy Mandator expands its mobile solution portfolio to become Danish Excitor's new sales and integration partner.

Excitor offers the DME (Dynamic Mobile Exchange) mobile solution, which has rapidly proven successful and is used by companies such as Carnegie, Ernst & Young, Marsh, Orkla and Sterling. DME supports Symbian, Java and Windows and brings high security and centralised management to a company's mobile devices.

Mandator has extensive experience in selling corporate solutions for mobile phones and will now assist Excitor in selling and integrating the Dynamic Mobile Exchange (DME) solution for customers in the Swedish market. DME offers large and medium-sized enterprises a mobile client/server solution that provides mobile employees with direct access to e-mail (secure push e-mail) and calendar and contact information (PIM sync) on mobile phones and smartphones. A centralised administration tool gives the company complete control over user actions, voice and data calls, costs and IT policy enforcement. The solution works with Symbian, Windows and Java.

"It's very exciting for us to enter this collaboration with Mandator and to advance both our positions in the Swedish market," says Lars Gravesen, Excitor's founder. "I believe companies choose us because our solution is platform, provider and network independent. DME gives companies high security and control over all their mobile devices."

"Mandator has long worked with mobile solutions and we find DME a very interesting addition to the market offering," says Nicolas Länninge, responsible for Mobile Solutions Manager at Mandator. "DME turns a mobile device into a flexible tool for today's mobile work environment, enabling users to synchronise push e-mail and PIM information (calendar, contacts, to do lists). You can even manage all mobile devices centrally, so if, for instance, a user loses their phone, the centralised management utility can be used to erase all information on the missing device."

Excitor and Mandator will both participate in Mobility & Wireless Networks Days at Hotel Clarion, Stockholm on 28 March. Excitor's founder, Lars Gravesen, is one of the speakers and will be available for interviews.
