Mandator has been chosen by AB Volvo in Sweden as a preferred supplier of engine testing systems with its product ComTest.

In Autumn 2002, following an international tender process, AB Volvo made Mandator (Previous Cell Network) a preferred supplier.

The agreement has already resulted in a multimillion kronor order for the company's ComTest system. Volvo Penta has ordered three ComTest systems and Volvo Powertrain has ordered four systems. Mandator has previously supplied four ComTest systems for engine testing to Volvo Penta and a total of nine systems to Volvo Powertrain.

"The preferred supplier agreement with AB Volvo strengthens our position in Sweden
as a supplier of systems for the advanced development and testing of complex engine systems," says Jan Gunulf, Business Manager for ComTest at Mandator. "It is very positive. Volvo has seen the benefit of the systems we have previously supplied, beginning with a ComTest system for a climatic wind tunnel with a chassis dynamometer. We are looking forward to working closely with Penta, Powertrain and other Volvo companies in the future."
