Mandator has signed a three-year general agreement with Karlstad Municipality. The agreement covers IT consulting services for Notes/Domino environments. In conjunction with the general agreement, Karlstad Municipality also ordered a new intranet.

"We're very pleased to have won the confidence of Karlstad municipality. In recent years, Mandator has conducted several assignments for the municipality and we view the new general agreement as confirmation that we have the right competence," says John Johansson, Business Unit Manager, Mandator.

Mandator has also received an assignment to develop a new intranet for the municipality. The chosen platform is Symfoni CMS, a Lotus Notes/Domino-based web publication tool. The intranet will comprise the first step in Karlstad Municipality's adaptation to the requirements established by Statskontoret (Swedish Agency for Public Management) for 24/7 agencies, with service available to citizens all day, every day.

Karlstad Municipality has 82,000 inhabitants and about 6,600 employees spread over 400 workplaces.

Mandator has Sweden's largest team of consultants with Lotus Notes/Domino expertise. Lotus Notes is a program suite offering applications such as e-mail, calendar functionality, document management and workflow management.

Mandator also recently signed a general agreement with the City of Gothenburg.
The public sector is one of Mandator's prioritised sectors, where we have customers such as FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), Vägverket (Swedish National Road Administration), Tekniska Verken (a municipal utilities group) and Luftfartsverket (Swedish Civil Aviation Administration).
