Mandator wins dispute in arbitration tribunal

A unanimous arbitration board has decided in Mandator's favour in a dispute.

As previously communicated, Mandator has been involved in a dispute surrounding a project wherein Mandator was a subcontracted consultant. Mandator's client did not fulfil its contractual obligations to the end-customer, resulting in the latter party cancelling the agreement.

Thereafter, the client directed a claim for compensation at Mandator and called for arbitration, at which point Mandator filed a counter-claim for work conducted within the project.
The arbitration board decided in Mandator's favour such that the client's claim is deemed completely invalid and the client is obliged to compensate Mandator.
