Mandator has signed a new general agreement with the Swedish Rescue Services Agency, relating to systems development.

The services relate to support for the Swedish Rescue Services Agency's IT operation. In the main, it involves systems development and system maintenance measures in the form of pilot studies, requirement specifications, database design, and programming. The agreement runs until 30 April 2005, with an option to extend by a further year.

"It is most heartening to have the renewed confidence of the Swedish Rescue Services Agency. The public sector continues to be a vital market segment for us," says Nils Henström, Business Unit Director, Mandator.

For a number of years, the Swedish Rescue Services Agency has used Mandator for advanced IT services, chiefly within systems administration and infrastructure services. Mandator is also responsible for maintaining the staff portal, Safety Net, http://www.skyddsnatet.nu. This site is backed by the Swedish Rescue Services Agency and a number of other Swedish authorities and organisations.
