Funnel recruits new CTO, another step in advancing its innovative technology
Stockholm, Sweden, September 4, 2023 — Marketing data hub Funnel strengthens its management team by appointing Jonas Björk as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The recruitment will enable Funnel to develop its innovative technology for continued growth and contribute to the company’s vision of becoming the globally leading marketing data hub.
Jonas Björk joins Funnel with over 15 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence and data infrastructure. He most recently served as CTO at Acast, where he was responsible for launching the company's marketplace and preparing the tech organization for its subsequent IPO. Prior to that, Jonas acted as the Technical Director of Data Infrastructure at Spotify, where he led large-scale projects in machine learning, data processing and storage.

Later this year, Funnel intends to unveil a new tool for marketers, enabling them to analyze and visualize data to gain insights more rapidly.
Jonas Björk assumed the role of CTO and member of the management team on September 11th.
