Red Commerce expands global business with new headquarters in New York
Appoints new director to oversee U.S. operations and drive growth
New York, US, 1 December 2011 – Red Commerce, Europe’s leading SAP staffing specialist, has announced the opening of its U.S. headquarters in New York. Having seen demand for its SAP staffing and consultancy services grow rapidly in the U.S. over the past two years, the new office provides Red Commerce with a local presence and will allow the firm to take advantage of the significant opportunities in what is the world’s largest SAP market. Red Commerce has also appointed Mike Rutkowski, previously director of SAP services at Bayforce, as director of its U.S. headquarters to oversee operations and drive strategy.
Red Commerce’s aim is to become the largest SAP staffing and consulting company in the U.S. within five years, and consolidate its position as one of the biggest and best providers of SAP staffing and consulting services globally. The opening of the office in New York will allow Red Commerce to provide the highest level of service to its U.S. based clients and will be supported by rapid expansion plans. These will involve growing the size of the New York office as well as planning additional offices in the Midwest and West Coast over the next year and a half.
“We have been delivering SAP consultants and solutions, as well as providing project support, for the past 11 years in North America. Following the requests from existing clients to operate in the U.S. we have opened our first office, located in central Manhattan, New York. This is the next stage of Red Commerce’s global growth plans as the U.S. market presents massive opportunities that we aim to capitalise on,” states Mike Rutkowski, director at Red Commerce (U.S.). “While we’re one of the biggest SAP recruiters globally, we also want to be the best. We do this by building and maintaining relationships and getting to know and understand our customers, consultants and candidates. This is an important part of the way we work and our new office allows us to provide local clients with the same level of service currently enjoyed by those in Europe.”
Rutkowski brings with him a wealth of SAP staffing experience, having previously worked at Starpoint Solutions and been a founding partner of Trinity Software Systems. His initial objective will be to build on Red Commerce’s existing presence, promote the breadth and depth of services the firm offers and oversee expansion of the business throughout the U.S.
