Team strengthened and key appointments made

Record 25th anniversary year anticipated


Fusion-Events, the leading organiser of automotive ‘live’ brand experiences, enjoyed a 28 per cent increase in turnover in 2013. It also strengthened its team and made key appointments at the beginning of 2014 with founder and former managing director Geoff Mason appointed chairman and former client services director, Gianni Mason succeeding him as managing director. Andy McNeil was appointed operations director and Nick Clinton made creative director.

Gianni Mason, managing director, Fusion-Events said: “2014 could not have got off to a better start as we celebrate our 25th anniversary and we view the year ahead with considerable optimism. We forecast a record growth year on the back of some major recent wins. These will be announced shortly and include a new contract with a luxury car manufacturer.

“During the course of the past 12 months, we strengthened our team with Jo Males joining as senior account manager on Renault and Mike Caffrey joining as event manager to strengthen the core account team on the same account. Overall, staff numbers rose from 14 to 20 and we are on the look-out to employ more people over the coming months.

“Last year, also saw us win an Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) Automotive and Consumable Durables 2013 Bronze Award for our imaginative city centre ‘It’s time to switch. Renault Z.E. Tour 2012’. Our team worked hard to deliver significant measurable results for our client, Renault UK, during a nationwide tour showcasing Renault’s current range of zero emission (Z.E.) electric vehicles.”
