Press Information:3rd conference of Astana EXPO-2017 Future Energy Forum 12-13 July 2017
The 3rd conference of the Astana EXPO-2017 Future Energy Forum is organized in cooperation with Nazarbayev University and dedicated to the theme “Climate Change and Reduction of CO2 emissions”. From 12-13 July 2017 leading experts will discuss the matters of politics, economics and international measures taken to fight climate change.
Among the speakers are Dr. Axel Winter, Staff scientist of International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), and Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, President of World Sustainable Development Forum. Representatives from Switzerland, Chile, Japan and several African countries share their knowledge about reducing CO2 emissions. The special session “The Forefront of Green Energy Technology – A Study of National and International Technological Advances” features innovative projects in Kazakhstan – from startups to existing technologies.
