G5 Entertainment AB today announced that Chris Carvalho has resigned as a member of the board of directors.

Carvalho, who was appointed to the G5 Entertainment board in 2016, has decided to step down to pursue another gaming industry board opportunity. To avoid a potential conflict of interest, the parties have mutually agreed that it is best for Carvalho to resign from the board of G5 Entertainment effective immediately.

“It´s been a pleasure serving on the board of G5 Entertainment. This has been a tough decision for me to take, but G5 is in a strong position and I am confident in the continued success of the company. G5 has fantastic teams across the company. I will be following the new games coming to the market with great interest,” said Carvalho.

“Chris has been a valuable addition to the board since he joined in 2016, supporting G5 with his experience and input on the company’s strategy,” said Vlad Suglobov, CEO and co-founder of G5 Entertainment. “All of us here at G5 are grateful for Chris’s contribution over the past three years and we wish him the best of luck on his next adventure.”

The nomination committee will present its proposal regarding the board composition in connection with the notice for the next annual general meeting in 2020.
