Gambro acquires clinics in Europe

Gambro acquires clinics in Europe Stockholm, Sweden, June 27, 2000 - Gambro AB (OM Stockholm Exchange: GAMBaST, GAMBbST), a leading international medical technology and healthcare company, today announced that it has strengthened its position as a leading international renal care service provider by acquiring clinics in Europe. During the first half of 2000 Gambro has acquired a total of seven clinics with about 510 patients in Europe. This includes five clinics in Spain in the regions of Barcelona and Valencia, one clinic in Italy in the Lazio region and one clinic in Portugal in the Oporto region. Of these, three clinics with about 300 patients were acquired during the second quarter 2000.
