Gambro acquires clinics in Portugal Stockholm, Sweden - Gambro AB (Stockholm Stock Exchange: GAMBaST, GAMBbST), a leading international medical technology and healthcare company, continues the expansion of the European dialysis clinics operation by acquiring clinics in Portugal. Gambro has acquired Medicassis in Lisbon consisting of two dialysis clinics with a total of 260 patients. The acquisition is made by the Portuguese subsidiary Gambro Lda., which thereby is strengthening its leading position on the Portuguese dialysis clinics market. During 1998 Gambro Lda. acquired Centro Hemodialysis do Lumiar in Lisbon with 160 patients.
