Gambro acquires clinics in the US

Gambro acquires clinics in the US Gambro has acquired five dialysis clinics in the state of Michigan with about 700 patients. The acquisition, which is effective October 1, 1998, has been performed through the American subsidiary Gambro Healthcare. The acquired clinics are wholly owned and managed by Gambro Healthcare. After the acquisition Gambro Healthcare owns, operates, manages and provides consulting services to 445 dialysis centers in the United States that serve approx. 33,500 patients.
