Gambro strengthens position in Mexico Stockholm, Sweden, March 3, 2000 - Gambro AB (OM Stockholm Exchange: GAMBaST, GAMBbST), a leading international medical technology and healthcare company, today announced that its Mexican subsidiary, Gambro de Mexico, has assumed the renal products sales business in Mexico from its former joint venture partner. This represents approximately USD 8 M (SEK 70 M) in annual sales. This move substantially strengthens Gambro's position in Mexico which represents the largest market for renal products in Latin America. The restructuring in Mexico is part of Gambro's strategy for increased direct sales presence in Latin America.
