Gambro takes over catheters sales in Germany and Austria

Gambro takes over catheters sales in Germany and Austria Stockholm, Sweden - Gambro AB (Stockholm Stock Exchange: GAMBaST, GAMBbST), a leading international medical technology and healthcare com- pany, has taken over the sales rights for catheter products in Germany and Austria from Achim Schulz-Lauterbach Vertrieb Medizinischer Produkte GmbH, which has been a sales agent on these markets. The sales rights represent annual sales of about SEK 15 million (DEM 3.5 million). The transaction is part of the strategic restructuring within the Renal Care Products business area. As part of the strategy to consolidate the sales operation, similar moves have been taken in Brazil, Korea, Switzerland, Belgium and the Nordic area during 1999.
