Interim report, January - September 1998: Streamlining completed * Sales amounted to 13,657 MSEK (16,502), an increase by 29% for present structure incl. acquisitions. * Earnings after financial items amounted to SEK 5,915 M (11,852), incl. non- recurring items of SEK 5,279 M (11,101). * Continued expansion and growth in the clinics operation in Europe and the Americas. * Good volume growth for renal care products. * Focusing of operations completed -Sale of approx. 113 million shares in ABB to Gambro's shareholders completed. Value of SEK 14 per Gambro share transferred to the shareholders. -Sale of 60% in MacGREGOR completed.
