Mikael Lilius leaves Gambro - becomes President of the Finnish energy company Fortum Stockholm, Sweden, June 6, 2000 - Gambro AB (OM Stockholm Exchange: GAMBaST, GAMBbST), a leading international medical technology and healthcare company, today announced that Mikael Lilius, President and CEO of Gambro, will leave the company to join the Finnish energy company Fortum as President and CEO as of September 1, 2000. Fortum has a leading position in the Nordic area in production and distribution of energy based on oil, gas, power and heat. Fortum has an annual turnover of about EUR 8.2 billion and has about 17.500 employees. Total market capitalization is about EUR 3.2 billion.
