New Organization for Gambro Healthcare Stockholm, Sweden, November 17, 2000 - Gambro AB (OM Stockholm Exchange: GAMBaST, GAMBbST), a leading international medical technology and healthcare company, today announced that a new organization has been established for the renal care clinics business area, Gambro Healthcare. This replaces the temporary organization established after the resignation of Brad Nutter, President of Gambro Healthcare. The business area will now be organized into two parts; the operations in the US, Gambro Healthcare US, and the operations outside the US, Gambro Healthcare International. Larry C. Buckelew, today President for the Gambro Healthcare US operations, has been appointed President and CEO of Gambro Healthcare US. He will be a member of the Gambro Executive Committee and report to Sören Mellstig, President and CEO of Gambro. Terry Gilpin, President Gambro Healthcare International, will report to Alain Granger, President Gambro Renal Products. This will support the overall expansion of Gambro and facilitate for the clinics and the products operations to make joint initiatives, enter new markets together, etc. However, Gambro Healthcare International will continue to be a focused renal care clinics operation.
