Acquisitions completed over the past 12 months have significantly extended the line of engineered seals and components offered by the Garlock Aerospace Group for critical aerospace applications. Visitors to this year’s Paris Air Show will have the opportunity to see the Garlock Aerospace Group’s innovative applications of its products to both airframes and engines.
Created to capitalise on the Garlock family of companies’ extensive aerospace experience, the Garlock Aerospace Group comprises 6 brands, each a leader in its area of expertise. Renowned for its leadership in sealing technology, the Garlock family of companies has recently been expanded to include Plastomer Technologies and Hydrodyne, businesses which extend the capabilities of the Aerospace Group into areas of high performance polymer and precision metallic components for critical applications

Hydrodyne is a leading manufacturer of machined metallic seals, bellows and precision burst disc assemblies for space, aircraft and nuclear markets. Other products include pressure relief valves, strainers, filters and precision Belleville springs.
Plastomer Technologies manufactures PTFE and high performance polymer components for demanding and critical applications. Supplying PTFE wiring harness tape to the world’s leading commercial aircraft companies is a core business area for Plastomer.

Technetics and Wide Range Elastomers products, both well established in the aerospace sector, broaden the Garlock Aerospace product range by providing sealing solutions for most aerospace requirements in both airframe and engine applications.
Technetics manufactures abradable seals, acoustic media and brush seals, contributing significantly to making aircraft engines quieter and more efficient. Wide Range Elastomers manufactures polymer sealing solutions for demanding aerospace applications including kiss and fire seals.
HELICOFLEX® products, such as its widely specified E-Rings, are engineered to withstand high temperatures and high pressures providing controlled compression and consistently high sealing integrity. CEFIL’AIR’s innovative inflatable seals and plate seals are widely used throughout manufacturing areas of the aerospace market.
