GARO signs framework agreement with a global vehicle manufacturer regarding charging infrastructure for the European market

GARO E-mobility AB has signed a framework agreement with a global heavy vehicle manufacturer for supplying destination chargers to the European market. Demand for transportation continues to increase and the initiative to offer sustainable transport in goods distribution, and thereby contribute to reducing climate impact in the transportation sector, is something that GARO welcomes.

The products that will be supplied under the framework agreement are wall boxes with a capacity tailored for electrically powered heavy vehicles. The wall box can then be installed with the end user and at the vehicles manufacturer’s own facilities. The first deliveries in the framework for the agreement are expected during the third quarter of 2022. Following this, orders will be placed on an ongoing basis, and the agreement does not guarantee any volumes.

“The transition to fossil-free transportation is essential for achieving the UN SDGs. We are proud and gratified that a major vehicle manufacturer has chosen us as a partner for expanding charging infrastructure in Europe in the transportation sector. Close collaboration with manufacturers of electrically driven heavy vehicles means that we can develop and drive the fossil-free transportation of the future together,” says Niklas Rönnäng, Business Area Director of GARO E-mobility.
