Gatespace Inc. Appoints Bob Hodges Head of Professional Services and Development Hodges to Manage and Integrate Gatespace's Solution for US Customers Menlo Park, CA. - Feb 26, 2001 - Gatespace, a provider of open standards based distributed service platforms for designing, developing, and delivering network-based services, announced today that it has appointed Bob Hodges as Senior Director of Professional Services and Development for Gatespace, Inc. In his new position, Hodges will spearhead Gatespace's professional services efforts and product development in the US. Mr. Hodges has held various high level and strategic positions with a number of companies such as Sun Microsystems and TRW, and has extensive background in engineering, project management and business development within the information technology industry. Prior to joining Gatespace, Mr. Hodges served as Director of Engineering for marchFIRST, a global professional services firm that delivers customer outreach and enterprise improvement solutions. He provided the core testing and design for a $30M project and worked hand in hand with a high profile client to create a quality assurance testing philosophy. He also increased the staff of engineers by more than 100%, building a high level of trust and good rapport in the process. During his tenure, he also developed the Center of Excellence for BEA Systems products; recruited core teams and product line teams; and initiated and implemented corporate activities to improve relationships between offices and improve the educational system for the entire company.
