GE Capital Appoints Industry Leaders for Commercial Distribution Finance

Dedicated roles created to drive growth in key sectors

LONDON, 4 June 2012: GE Capital today announces it has appointed Sven Sels as Industry Leader for Marine, and Bruno Braure as Industry Leader for Agriculture and Industrial within its pan-EMEA Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) team. Both will report to Geoff Healey, Commercial Leader, EMEA for GE Capital CDF.

The new appointments will bolster GE Capital’s strength in key growth sectors, and follow the departure of Andrew Stafferton, Industry Leader for Marine, Agriculture, and Industrial. After over 10 years with the CDF EMEA business, Andrew will be moving in June to a new role as a General Manager in GE Capital’s CDF business in Australia.

GE Capital Commercial Distribution Finance is a leading provider of inventory and floor-plan finance in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, supporting manufacturers in a wide range of industries such as IT, motorsports, recreational vehicles, marine, agriculture and construction industries. Working capital is secured against finished goods from the moment they leave the production line through the dealer network and onto the end customer. Customers include Triumph Motorcycles, luxury motorboat manufacturer Sunseeker, and agricultural machinery manufacturer Kverneland.
