High Volumes of Chemical-Free Cleaner, Degreaser, and Sanitizer Now Available With The New InstaFlow.
Three gallons per minute of safe, sustainable, chemical-free cleaning, degreasing, and sanitizing solution new possible with new InstaFlow from GenEon Technologies.
GenEon Technologies today announced the introduction of the new InstaFlow, a compact, innovative, wall-mounted device that produces large volumes of safe, sustainable cleaning, degreasing, and sanitizing solutions for schools, hospitals, restaurants, food service operations and virtually any environment desiring to clean dirt or kill germs without harmful chemicals.
“With the push of a button, maintenance professionals can now produce high-performing cleaning and sanitizing solutions onsite in whatever quantities needed—whether small amounts for spray bottles, medium quantities for mop buckets and buddy jugs or even large volumes for powered scrubbers,” says John Shanahan, co-founder and vice-president of sales for GenEon Technologies. “GenEon Technologies is about making water smarter. With the InstaFlow now we are also making cleaning easier.”
The industry’s first high-volume, blended-stream electrolyzed water generator, the Insta-Flow measures just 15 inches x 11.5 inches x 5.5 inches and can be installed virtually anywhere within minutes. All that is required is access to water and electricity.
Mixing tap water and proprietary minerals, the InstaFlow harnesses the science of water electrolysis to energize the solution with an electrical charge and create GenEon cleaner: a safe, effective liquid for removing dirt and grime,
Uniquely stable for extended periods of time, the cleaning solution produced by the InstaFlow is virtually safe for skin, fabrics, and almost any surface having a consistent ph range between 9 and 11.9.
The InstaFlow can also produce a high-performing neutral ph sanitizing solution called hypochlorous (HOCl) to kill germs. Independent tests confirm the InstaFlow sanitizing solution kills up to 99.999% of the most common germs in less than 30 seconds when used as directed.
Food processing plants, technology clean rooms, and organic grocers long ago abandoned toxic cleaning chemicals in favor of naturally occurring hypochlorous as a means to cleaning and sanitizing food prep areas, fruits and vegetables, and highly sensitive clean rooms. These industries virtually invented the process of energizing water and minerals to create inexpensive, sustainable, highly effective sanitizing solutions. GenEon Technologies simply reduced the size of these machines down to today’s compact InstaFlow, making it accessible for everyday use.
“The hypochlorous InstaFlow produces is very safe,” notes Shanahan. “So safe, in fact, the human body produces a form of it in white blood cells to fight off infection.” (For scientific support of this claim, please contact GenEon.) Hypochlorous in this form contains “free available chlorine;” harmful to germs, but safe on skin, surfaces and clothing.
In the 1970s, the United States EPA recognized hypochlorous as 80 times more effective than chlorine bleach, but safe enough to be certified GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the FDA. In a 2008 report to the public on the properties of hypochlorous, the U.S. CDC notes: “The microbicidal activity of anew disinfectant, ‘superoxidized water,’ has been examined. The concept of electrolyzing saline to create a disinfectant or antiseptics is appealing because the basic materials of saline and electricity are inexpensive and the end product does not damage the environment. The main products of this water are hypochlorous and chlorine. As with any germicide, the antimicrobial activity of superoxidized water is strongly affected by the concentration of the active ingredient (available free chlorine). The solution is non-toxic to biologic tissues. In 2002, the FDA cleared superoxidized water to be a powerful disinfectant.” For a copy of this report, please contact GenEon. .
“Highly-reputable third party and EPA-recognized laboratories have documented the dirt-reduction and germ-killing power of the solutions created by GenEon Technologies in machines like the InstaFlow,” notes Shanahan. “In fact, testing run with AOAC protocols and GLP procedures confirm the GenEon sanitizer kills common germs in less than 30 seconds.”
Results from a battery of tests performed by third-party laboratories and universities on GenEon’s original handheld cleaning and sanitizing device, the Trio+, confirm that the dirt-removal performance of the GenEon chemical-free technology is equal to or better than traditional chemicals by common measures of efficiency, effectiveness, and expense. “Overall, the Trio+ removed over 91% of the bathroom soil on all substrates,” reports the Toxics Use Reduction Institute’s Surface Solutions Laboratory (TURI) at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, on independent testing done on common bathroom soils. The report concludes, “The Trio had an overall efficiency of over 85% and performed as well as common green and conventional cleaners.” For a copy of this report, please contact GenEon.
