Worldwide Leading PC Vendor Turns PCs into Multimedia Virtual Offices by Bringing Genesys Meeting Center to the Desktop Genesys Conferencing sets new milestone in strategic partnerships with PC manufacturers Denver, Colorado and Montpellier, France - February 26, 2002 - Genesys Conferencing (Euronext: 3955) (Nasdaq: GNSY), the world's leading conferencing specialist, today announced the signing of a new partnership agreement with a major global computer manufacturer to integrate and deliver Genesys Meeting Center, the industry's first fully integrated audio and Web conferencing platform, on selected PCs. Due to the confidential nature of the agreement, the company's name could not be disclosed. This alliance creates the next generation of PCs, transforming desktops into multimedia virtual offices by embedding access to a full suite of conferencing and collaboration services. With Genesys Meeting Center, users will set up and directly manage meetings that include audio and web conferencing by clicking on desktop icons, enabling them to collaborate in real-time in the simplest and most cost-effective manner. Genesys Meeting Center will start to be incorporated into two thirds of the manufacturer's PCs sold in France as from this month followed by Italy and Spain. The partnership also includes a free trial of Genesys Meeting Center for PC users.
