Genexis Group has published its 2022 sustainability report
Genexis Group AB, a European company providing products, software and solutions for broadband and fiber-to-the-home, today presents its first sustainability report.
Genexis Group’s ambition is to pave the way for sustainability within the broadband industry. During 2022, we have initiated a sustainability program reflected in the report that we present today. Key overarching goals and targets are:
- Set Science-Based Near-term Targets to reduce absolute emissions in scope 1-2 with 42% by 2030.
- Set Science-Based Net-Zero Targets to reduce absolute emissions in scope 1, 2 and 3 with 90% by 2050 with a 2022 base year.
- 55% of total plastics used in final products to consist of recycled plastics by 2026.
The sustainability report is based on a materiality assessment that was conducted in 2022. The results of this assessment indicate that “Innovation” and “Resource consumption, emissions and efficiency” are among both priority areas in the subsidiaries of the group.

The Swedish management consultancy Ethos, specialising in sustainability, has carried out the data collection and consolidation.
