Genexis Launches New FiberTwist XGS2410B: The Next-Generation XGS-PON ONT for Open-Access Networks
Genexis, a leading provider of innovative broadband solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its new FiberTwist XGS2410B, a next-generation XGS-PON ONT (Optical Network Terminal).
This new product is a refined successor to the XGS2410, offering enhanced performance in a more compact form factor. Key benefits include a smaller size, lower power consumption, added features, and improved product circularity.
Genexis is relentlessly driving to be market-leading in product circularity and low power consumption for sustainability reasons. With the reduced housing size of our new FiberTwist XGS2410B we are using 62% less plastic, while simultaneously increasing the percentage of recycled plastic from 45% to 90%. The new design therewith achieves a 67% reduction in CO₂e emissions, further solidifying our commitment to sustainable innovation. Responding to the market need for our compact, powerful and vendor independent ONTs, the new FiberTwist XGS2410B retains all the benefits of the original XGS2410, but offers even more advantages.
Added Features for a better future
The FiberTwist XGS2410B is designed with easy installation and sustainability in mind. The smaller housing requires fewer materials, contributing to a better product circularity score. The device also offers advanced features, such as the option for a Premium Security Package and TR-069 capabilities. These capabilities include speed testing, ONT monitoring, and troubleshooting services, which are of particular interest for open access networks.
