And this is where several of the world-changing innovations in consumer electronics have been announces since 1967. CEO Morten Revill was attending CES in order to promote that the the world`s first autonomous smart socket, Kokong, is now being adjusted to meet the US standards. The new, special Isfjäll was also introduced with flying colours. - We are delighted to win this award for our latest product. Every year the US alone consumes more than USD 20 billion in passive power consumption. The award winning Kokong socket, and now special edition Isfjäll, saves power and diminishes fire risk, and the best part is that absolutely anyone can use it, says Morten Revill.
Launches in April
The award was given on grounds that Isfjäll symbolizes how everyday power savings in the home can contribute to global sustainability. Kokong and Isfjäll both help reduce power consumption and the risk of fire or overheating when charging, without you having to do anything other than plug in.
- Safety in your own home is one of the most important things for every human being and family. Fear of fire is global and Kokong allows you to charge safely day or night whether you are 5 or 105 years of age, and so provides peace of mind. We have high hopes for these products on the US market, says Morten Revill.
Both Kokong, and the special iceberg edition, Isfjäll, is launching in the US in April.
