Positive result in the procurement of Road marking Contracting

The largest volumes in Road Marking Contracting is procured by one-or multi year contracts. In the recently completed contract procurement in Norway Geveko has received several contracts covering four years, which will increase the volume in Norway. Geveko has also secured an adequate volume in Denmark after winning major contracts for Southern Jutland in Denmark. In Sweden, Geveko received a 2-year contract for the regions Västernorrland and Dalarna with an option for another two years. Procurement of additional contracts is in progress in Sweden.

On the national road network in Romania the procurement is divided in eight different regions. The subsidiary of Geveko has contracts in five regions, which have been renewed for 2011, with increased volumes.

Geveko’s Turkish associate company has obtained a road marking contract in Turkmenistan, which includes a volume of approximately 180 tonnes of thermoplastics ViaTherm™. Negotiations are ongoing on the selection of more roads amounting to a volume of about 300 tons.
