The Plant Maintenance Show 2022 in Osaka, Japan, focuses on maintenance technology with the aim of improving the productivity and resilience of manufacturing and construction industries while also developing sustainable infrastructure. From December 7 to 9, Swiss flow solutions provider GF Piping Systems will present products that ensure the safe and efficient transport of chemicals, gases, and fluids.

As safety regulations and sustainability guidelines become ever more stringent, industrial companies require technical solutions that make their plants reliable and future-proof. Piping Systems in particular play an essential role in ensuring that production processes run smoothly. Because of this, GF Piping Systems will display a wide range of plastic piping solutions, process automation, and pipe connection technology for numerous industrial applications including future-oriented membrane filtration.

The Swiss company specializes in plastic piping systems and will therefore put the main focus on its ELGEF Plus and PROGEF portfolio. ELGEF Plus is an electrofusion system for pressurized piping applications in the industrial sector. Made of polyethylene, it is corrosion-free, lightweight and features a high chemical resistance. As a result, it has a long service live, requires little maintenance, and reduces costs. Here, GF Piping Systems will also show the new Y-Tapping Saddle which features a patented Y-shape design with a 30° outlet, lever system for fast assembly, leakage free tapping with an integrated cutter and fixed end stops, and the well-known ELGEF Plus electrofusion technology.

PROGEF, on the other hand, is a polypropylene piping system that is suitable for many different industrial applications and is available in a wide range of dimensions. It offers high-stress crack resistance as well as pressure, abrasion, corrosion and temperature resistance up to 80°C. The resulting durability make PROGEF an economical and safe option.

Finally, GF Piping Systems will also demonstrate its process automation products. The company offers complete solutions including valves, controllers, transmitters, and measuring technology, as well pneumatic, electronic, and smart actuators and positioners.

Kenshi Nishimura, Professional Engineer (OR, U.S.A, ME) Sales Manager at GF Piping Systems sees the Plant Maintenance Show 2022 as an important trade show: “Ensuring that plants can run safely and reliably is a huge priority for industrial companies. We believe that our plastic piping systems create operational safety for life by providing the necessary resilience to face the challenges of today and tomorrow. In addition, our systems are easy to install and can improve the efficiency and sustainability of production plants – especially when paired with our complete process automation solutions.”
