GHP Ortho Center Stockholm opens outpatient unit in new premises at Gärdet
As from January 2019, GHP Ortho Center Stockholm is expanding its outpatient business in new central premises at Storängsvägen 10, Gärdet, in Stockholm. The new surgical and outpatient premises are an important part of GHP’s focus on insurance companies, where we now considerably strengthening the services we offer in our largest specialty.
GHP Ortho Center Stockholm today conducts its outpatient surgery at Löwenströmska Hospital in Upplands Väsby. The expansion gives Ortho Center increased capacity and improved efficiency at the same time as we can meet our patients’ preference for more centrally located premises. The new premises will be upgraded to meet GHP’s quality requirements and it is planned that they will be ready for inauguration in January 2019.
“A long time ago, a need was identified to supplement our business at Löwenströmska Hospital with a centrally located orthopedic unit. The new premises at Storängsbotten enable us to gather our outpatient business under one roof so that we can better meet our customers’ needs. To summarize, we can now offer both inpatient care focusing on hip and knee prosthetics at Löwenströmska Hospital and outpatient care and surgery at the new clinic at Storängsbotten”, says Magnus Ödquist, CEO of GHP Ortho Center Stockholm.
The expansion does not require any major investments on the part of GHP and is not expected to have a significant effect on GHP’s results for 2018.
