GHP sign collaboration agreement regarding Neurorehabilitation Hospital in GCC
As an important step to continue the expansion in UAE and GCC, GHP has signed a collaboration agreement with Integra Healthcare (IHC). IHC leads an initiative to establish a world leading Neurorehabilitation Hospital and has chosen GHP as Hospital Operator.
GHP has carefully investigated the UAE and GCC market and concluded that there is a great need for rehabilitation services in general, and rehabilitation for neuro related injuries in particular. The planned hospital will aim at being the comprehensive service provider related to the patient group of Neuro and Road Traffic Accidents patients, with a need for in- or out-patient rehab.
The project is in its early stages and critical actions during the coming months is to secure funding of establishment and construction of the Neuro-rehabilitation Hospital. GHP has signed a collaboration agreement with IHC where GHP will become the Hospital Operator if and once the funding is secured.
IHC is a consortium of leading healthcare Planning, Design and Construction professionals which offer clients a one-stop turn-key solution for all their health care needs.
“A hospital focusing on Neurorehabilitation will fit perfectly in GHPs strategy with a high degree of specialization and focus on quality and outcomes. It is another area with a strong local need where we can really make a difference for the population of UAE and those of other GCC countries”, says the CEO of GHP International, Tobias Linebäck.
The signing of this collaboration agreement will not have any greater effect on the P/L of GHP at this stage. Provided a successful fund raising, GHP will come back with additional information and guidance.
