Marianne Dicander Alexandersson has been appointed new CEO of Global Health Partner and she will take up her new position after the summer in 2012. Marianne has broad business and leadership experience and is at present the CEO of the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund (the Sixth AP Fund). As has been communicated previously, Per Båtelson will continue with his commitment and strategic work from his seat on the company Board.

“I am very pleased that Marianne has chosen to accept the position of CEO and look forward to a productive collaboration. From my time as Chairman of the National Corporation of Swedish Pharmacies (Apoteket AB) I have seen Marianne’s strength within operative steering and her ability to create commitment in the organisation, which are needed for the continued innovative growth of Global Health Partner. Marianne fully shares our fundamental values and the quality focus that are our trademark within healthcare”, says Per Båtelson, Global Health Partner’s CEO.

Marianne comes to Global Health Partner from a position as CEO of the Sixth AP Fund, but also has many years of experience in the field through employment at Apoteket AB, Kronans Droghandel, ICI and Pharmacia. Several of her roles within these and other organisations have involved a clear responsibility for and commitment to quality and quality development.

Marianne is bringing great value to Global Health Partner through a broad contact network within Swedish industry and as an experienced and skilful leader and has, in addition to being CEO of the Sixth AP Fund, also been the CEO of Kronans Droghandel and the Deputy CEO of Apoteket AB.

“Through a strong operational focus Marianne will continue to develop, expand and strengthen Global Health Partner as a supplier of high quality healthcare with the motto “Quality through Specialisation”. Per Båtelson will continue to be very important for the development of the company and work to a considerable extent, with the focus on strategic development and building relationships with key people both in and outside the company”, says Paul Hökfelt, Chairman of the Board of Global Health Partner.
