The Swedish Olympic Committee (SOC) and GHP have initiated collaboration whereby athletes in the SOC’s Topp och Talang programme gain access to medical care at GHP’s clinics.

The collaboration gives the SOC athletes in the Topp och Talang programme access to medical care at GHP’s clinics in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. It also means that the SOC’s medical staff will, gain access to the specialist competence available at GHP’s clinics when they need advice.

“We are very pleased that we have been entrusted with taking care of the athletes in the SOC’s Topp och Talang programme. These people live for being able to perform at their very best and therefore place very high demands on quality and availability,” says Daniel Öhman, CEO of GHP.

The SOC’s aim is that Sweden will be a successful sporting nation, with the capacity for medals in many sports. The long-term objective is that the Swedish Olympic squads will have the capacity to take 20 medals, including five golds, at the summer Olympics of 2020 and the winter Olympics of 2022.

“This collaboration with GHP’s strong network of clinics ensures that we have high-quality and available medical care for our athletes in Topp och Talang aiming for the Olympic Games,” says Peter Reinebo, COO at the SOC.
