Impressive annual growth at Glanbia Performance Nutrition has been attributed to a radical approach to product innovation and working more closely with key customers. 

In 2012, Glanbia Performance Nutrition continued a steady trend at the business and saw turnover  and volumes increase for the 8th successive year. The growth in recent years has come from existing customers, who are now working more closely with Glanbia on development of new products. Volume on production has increased more than 20 times between 2005 and 2013.

The company spent a significant proportion of the last 12 months identifying the current and future trends which will impact on the sports nutrition and functional food bars market, and now have a steady stream of new innovations which they are sharing with customers.
