CLAUS CARLSEN TO HEAD KYRO´S GLASS PROCESSING GROUP

A significant appointment has been made in Kyro Group's main business area,
Glaston Technologies. Claus Carlsen, 40, has been appointed as the Managing
Director of Glaston Technologies´ Glass Processing Group and Tamglass Safety
Glass Ltd. as of 1 January, 2006.

Carlsen has previously worked at Tamglass in 1989-1997, as Marketing Director
among other positions. Carlsen now transfers to the Kyro Group from a British
packaging company, LINPAC Group, where he worked as Managing Director of the
German and Nordic group companies.
- Carlsen's versatile international experience makes him the right choice for
carrying out our Glass Processing Group's profitable growth and
internationalization, comments Kyro Group CEO & President Pentti Yliheljo.

The long-standing Director of the Glass Processing Group and Tamglass Safety
Glass Ltd., Pertti Iivanainen, will in the new year become the Business
Development Director of the Glass Processing Group and continue as a member of
the group company boards.

Sasu Koivumäki is the Managing Director of Tamglass Finton Oy (Balcony Systems)
and Jorma Nenonen is the Managing Director of Tamglass Insulating Glass Ltd. Both
companies are part of Glaston Technologies´ Glass Processing Group.

Claus Carlsen will report to Pentti Yliheljo.
