Glaston negotiating the sale of its Tampere factory property

Glaston Corporation has signed an undertaking on the sale and leaseback of its factory property complex located in Vehmainen, Tampere, Finland.

The property complex consists of four plots and buildings. The area in question covers approximately 11 hectares and has five buildings and four unheated storage structures. The buildings are very well designed, modernised and maintained. Glaston was awarded a good construction prize by the City of Tampere in connection with the building of the modern glass-processing factory.

Glaston believes that the sale will be completed during the first half of 2012.

The property complex is presented as held for sale asset in Glaston’s statement of financial position when all IFRS 5 requirements are fulfilled.
