GLASTON TECHNOLOGIES COMPANY BAVELLONI LAUNCHES EFFICIENCY PROGRAM

Glass pre-processing machinery manufacturer Z. Bavelloni S.p.A, part of Kyro
Group's main business area Glaston Technologies, starts an efficiency program in
its Italian organization in September.

The program's objective is to improve Bavelloni´s profitability to enable future
growth according to the company's strategy. Bavelloni is the global market leader
in glass pre-processing machinery, with manufacturing also in new, growing
markets Brazil and China.

The changes carried out now are part of the strategy, according to which
Bavelloni develops and strengthens the Italian manufacturing of large, high-
technology pre-processing machines as well as integrated line combinations with
Tamglass safety glass machines. Simultaneously, the program supports further
development of an important sector for Bavelloni, furniture glass pre-processing
machinery.

Tamglass and Bavelloni, offering a One-Stop-Partner concept, provide an
exceptional product range and joint service especially for processors of
architectural glass. These solutions are of great significance in the growing
architectural glass industry. Bavelloni´s strategy is to succeed with Tamglass on
these demanding markets by offering the most advanced technology in the industry.


The main points of the efficiency program are streamlining internal processes and
the product range as well as reducing costs, such as human resource costs. As
part of this, Bavelloni has started negotiations with related Italian trade
unions.

The efficiency program also includes closing the company's Bergamo production
plant and thus concentrating the company's Italian assembly functions from the
current three plants to two on the Bregnano area.

Kyro Corporation will disclose more details as Bavelloni´s efficiency program and
related personnel negotiations proceed.
