GLASTON TECHNOLOGIES RECEIVED ORDERS FOR APPROXIMATELY EUR 23
MILLION

Kyro Group’s main business area, Glaston Technologies, has agreed
new machinery orders for approximately EUR 23 million. The orders
were received in connection with the international glass
exhibition Glasstec 2004 held in Düsseldorf on 9-13 November,
2004, and during negotiations following immediately thereafter.
This is so far the best result from a trade fair for Glaston
Technologies and it complements the good sales success achieved in
October. The Glasstec exhibition is the largest biennial trade
fair within the glass industry.

Part of the orders will be delivered already during this year, but
most of them during 2005. The orders were received from all main
market areas and they come from both the architectural and
automotive glass industries. The orders will be booked, when down
payments have been received.

Glaston Technologies invests strongly in R&D, and it introduced
numerous significant products at Glasstec for both pre-processing
of glass and safety glass production.

Kyro is a growth-driven, financially solid, and global technology
group. Its business areas are Glaston Technologies and Energy.
Glaston Technologies comprises of the globally operating Glass
Machinery Group, which is the world market leader in glass
processing machinery, and the Glass Processing Group, which
focuses on markets in Finland and neighbouring areas. The Energy
business area consists of the energy producer Kyro Power Oy, which
generates energy in modern power plants, heat and electricity in
its gas-fired power plant and electricity in its hydropower plant.
